An exploration of how data visualisation can transform complex datasets into accessible, meaningful narratives. Through projects spanning crime analytics, economic nonparticipation, social trends, and personal behaviour, I explored how visual choices influence the way people interpret information, recognise patterns, and understand the stories behind data.

An exploration of how data visualisation can transform complex datasets into meaningful visual stories. Through experiments in Tableau, Python, R, and Flourish, I explored different ways of representing information, identifying patterns, and improving how people interpret data.
From redesigning existing visualisations to exploring personal data and building interactive dashboards, each assignment challenged me to think about how visual choices influence clarity, comparison, and storytelling.
The work culminated in India’s Invisible Workforce, a data-driven report examining economic nonparticipation across age, sex, and activity using Census data. Designed as an accessible visual resource for NGOs and social sector organisations, the report explores how education, unpaid domestic work, and dependency shape patterns of nonparticipation.
